Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

Learn to recognize, understand, and respond to signs of mental health challenges in children and adolescents—with confidence and compassion.

What Is Youth Mental Health First Aid?

Youth Mental Health First Aid is an evidence-based training program that teaches parents, caregivers, and adults who work with youth how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges in children and adolescents.

Just like physical first aid, mental health first aid gives you the skills to provide initial support until professional help is available—or until the crisis resolves.
